Main Memorial Park

Just three miles north of downtown, this park holds a large lake, two playgrounds, and tennis courts. It also has periodic special events, like its 4th of July fireworks display. Trees surround the park, so it's very private. The kids will love the rock climbing wall on the playground!

Saddle River County Park

At 577 acres, Saddle River County Park consists of five linked parks: Rochelle, Otto C. Pehle, Dunkerhook, Glen Rock, and Wild Duck Pond. The parks are linked by a 6-mile long, multi-use path that follows the Saddle River and Ho-Ho-Kus Brook.

Rochelle Park Area

This section is perfect for sports lovers. It houses two tennis courts, a basketball court, a softball field, and a playground. It also has picnicking areas and a pavilion with electric use.

Otto C. Pehle Area

Dunkerhook Area

Home to the Easton Tower, a county historic site, this area holds a beautiful waterfall for nature lovers. It also has a great open space that's intended for electric gliders on a calm day. North of Dunkerhook, the multi-use pathway forks, heading either to the Wild Duck Pond area or the Glen Rock area.

Glen Rock Area

Housing a pond that can be used for fishing and model boating (and ice skating in the winter), this area of the park is host to several different activities. It includes two tennis courts, a playground, picnic areas, and two pavilions with electric use.

Wild Duck Pond Area

Yanticaw Park

At 28 acres and fifteen minutes south of downtown Clifton, New Jersey, Yanticaw Park’s name was derived from an early local Native American ceremonial dance of thanksgiving. In the words of the Lenni-Lenape tribe, it translates to “place of the wood boundary.” The park has multiple bridges and a large playground area with two different age sections. The upper section contains the Carmen A. Orechio Recreation Complex, which includes multiple baseball and softball fields.
