Does it seem like you rake and rake but the leaves just never stop showing up?
Why do we continue to use the same old method of a simple rake and bag to do this task year after year?
It’s 2018! Today’s society resides in a high-tech world where cars can drive themselves, yet we haven’t designed a way to make picking up leaves less miserable…
You’ve probably never heard of these things, but they’re real and they exist. Here are some unique tools designed specifically to make picking up leaves easier:
When you see this rake you almost think: “why didn’t I think of that!” This rake is comprised of two handles that come together to close the scoops on the bottom. You can use this thing as a rake, a picker-upper, and a scoop shovel. It only weighs about 2.5 pounds and goes for around $40.
The Leaf Scoops are pretty much what they sound like. Two scoops come together which have a handle on each for your hand to slip inside. You attach each scoop to your hands and are able to pick up huge bundles of leaves with each grab. These go for around $8.
The Garden Grabber looks like something out of a Sci-Fi movie. It seems a bit complicated but is actually super simple to use. The bottom opens wide with a ton of individual rakes. A cable and pulley device allows you to pull up on the handle and in turn close the bottom of the rake, picking up whatever you may fit inside. The Garden Grabber costs around $45.
If you’d rather take your riding lawn mower for one last run and pick up all the leaves at the same time, you’re gonna’ need a bigger bag. Monster Leaf Bag is over ten times bigger than any competing leaf bags and will allow you to suck up all the leaves in your yard at the same time it takes you to cut your grass. The bag costs about $70.
This rake looks like a normal rake at first glance, until you look towards the bottom. Its unique design allows it to efficiently pick up both dry leaves and wet leaves at the same time. The rake is made in the US and costs $35.
